At Pinkham Real Estate we’ve spent over 25 years learning our trade. As the oldest real estate office in North Conway, we’ve seen neighborhoods rise and decline, sold houses in them. Sometimes sold the same house several times. Though the words “buyer broker” were unknown back when we first opened our doors, our philosophy has uniquely qualified us to represent buyers. We, as owners, long ago rejected the notion that bigger is better in real estate. We feel assisting in the purchase and sale of a big ticket item such as a home or business is not something that should be entrusted to a clerk or part-timer who just hands you a brochure of his company’s listings. We work directly and personally with customers to find the very best property available, regardless of whose listing it is.
Despite our many years in what is now called the Mount Washington Valley – it was the Eastern Slope Region when the Pinkham Agency started – we are able to look at the area as you might. Objectively. None of us are natives, with the emotional coloration that sometimes accompanies the selling of property in one’s “hometown”. We all live here by choice, not by accident of birth. And we have advised thousands of others who are considering this same choice: in rare cases we have concluded that this was not the area that would make them happiest; in most cases we’ve found that it is. And nearly everyone who has bought here has been happy to be here
