Summer weather, but we’re starting to think snow
Friday, August 21st, 2009It is a balmy August afternoon in Mount Washington Valley, and the Saco is finally warm enough for the swimming to be pleasant. While we are definitely enjoying it, we are also starting to think about skiing. If making turns hasn’t crossed your mind recently, you will most likely think about it this weekend as you drive through the valley, where local ski shops are hosting huge tent sales. In the field next to Schouler Park, you will find the Ski and Snowboard Liquidators Tent Sale, and as you drive north on Route 16 the Joe Jones Tent Sale (across from the Wooden Soldier headquarters) is hard to miss.
